Why It's Used

Why This Product Is Used

PresoMed® Compression Stockings provide graduated compression that is highest at the ankle and gradually decreases toward the calf and thigh. This improves venous return, reduces blood pooling, minimizes swelling, and supports healthy blood circulation.

These elastic stockings act as a layer of muscle by gently squeezing the stretched vein walls together, allowing the valves to close. The cavity of the vein is reduced, thereby restoring blood flow to its normal state and aiding overall circulation.

According to the American Venous Forum, “graduated elastic and compression hosiery” is the gold standard for the treatment of venous disorders.
